The exhibition "Florence Déco. Atmospheres of the Twenties", scheduled at Palazzo Medici Riccardi from April 2 to August 25, 2026, tells the story of a decade of extraordinary creative ferment, during which Florence establishes itself as a refined laboratory of applied and decorative arts, fashion, design, and theater.
Alongside furniture, jewelry, fabrics, clothing, and advertising posters, the exhibition curated by Lucia Mannini devotes ample space to the ceramics of the Florentine manufactories Chini and Cantagalli and to the successful collaboration of Gio Ponti with Richard-Ginori, represented by 28 important loans from the Museo Ginori.
The exhibition is promoted by the Metropolitan City of Florence and organized by Fondazione MUS.E.
