Uno più Uno Service - Promotional leaflet

Uno più Uno represents the new solution proposed by Giovanni Gariboldi in 1970 to reduce the footprint of domestic table services. As with the contemporary Eco service, the designer worked on stackability and the elimination of handles, but in this case, to avoid burning ones hands, he chose to double all containers, so that each cup and each coffee pot or milk jug is actually made of two elements that fit into each other, thermally insulating the beverage. Thanks to the use of two different shades of blue, this feature also creates a decorative effect based on the two colours. 

The Uno più Uno service was awarded at Macef (Housewares Exhibition at the Milan Fair) in 1970 and is one of the last projects of Giovanni Gariboldi, who died in 1971 after dedicating much of his career to the Società Ceramica Richard-Ginori.
